I want to start a organic garden this summer. HELP?!?!?!?

I live in Saint Paul Minnesota, I was thinking about doing raised beds because the soil at our house is is clay based. I need help finding everything to start this garden, soil, seeds, etc. I have found a few websites that have organic seeds but most of them you have to buy the seeds in bulk. I need help on what I can grow in this climate. I would love to have strawberries! <3 Anything helps! Thanks!

Whats the maximum time fresh organic vegetables from a vegetable garden can last before rotting?

    Our little organic urban(ish) garden

urban organic gardening— Our little organic garden is the product of laziness and thrift. Being slothful and cheap is made possible by one of gardening’s little miracles – MULCH !!! A few inches of mulch keeps the water in the dirt and keeps the weeds there too. In other words less watering is required and you don’t have to weed as much. YEAH !! —————————————————————————————————- Then there’s compost… you can do it the easy, lazy way, like me, just throw all your NON-ANIMALfood scraps into a heap in the back yard. Add some dirt occasionally, and wait. OR you can do it properly, layering green stuff (kitchen scraps and lawn clippings) and brown stuff (dirt and fallen leaves or other dead vegetable matter). Turn it occasionally. Aerate and moisten it. If you do it properly you’ll get usable compost twice a year. Lazy me, doing nothing to accelerate nature’s slowly gradual decomposition process, gets usable compost every other year.

Tea, and Organics, also hydroponic gardening questions?

I live in Pennsylvania. I was wondering if anyone knows if tea can be grown and also survive in PA so that i don’t have to buy seeds every year? Also anybody know any informative, yet simple to understand hydroponic gardening tips? Things like pumpkins and possibly tea I will grow outside, but tomatoes, carrots, etc I want to grow hydroponically.
Also if anyone knows of good organic seed websites, for tea especially please post a link or at least tell me the website. Thank You.

    Having an organic garden?!?

I want to start my own organic garden, but where should I plant my organic seeds? Probably not in my actual land, since there could be chemicals and pesticides already existing in the soil. Should I just get big planting bins, and plant herbs and lettuces, and maybe some veggies? Or will there not be enough space for a proper root system to form?
