20100501 – Scarecrow’s garden Part 2
We lost almost all of our seedlings. Not sure why. Most failed to germinate but some seem to have died when we put them outside to get them acclimated for planting. It’s now too late in the season to try new seeds. So it was off to the organic gardening center to buy some seedlings ready to plant. This is your basic till the soil and put them in the ground type HOW-TO video. Really just showing off how nice it all went together. Now its the wait until harvest time.

Well, over the weekend, I experienced my first organic gardening trauma, and was ATTACKED by red fire ants while I was replenishing the soil in my Square Foot Garden. Nature can be painful, people.
