Fresh green vegetable through Organic gardening

An organic garden is always like an ideal for those people values the flavor of their food. Organic garden or herb garden is easy growing, and no pleasure of picking new pieces to the pot can be derived without fresh vegetable grown. Organic gardening is the practice of growing fresh salad and vegetables without using harmful chemicals. Although we usually do not think of it, Herb garden concepts also apply to the world of flowers, trees, shrubs, and even your kitchen garden. These vegetables and salad grows without harmful and artificial chemicals. Commonly today, potentially harmful chemicals and non-natural products are used for fertilizing, and for control of insects, disease, and weeds.

Organic garden can be grown in different ways such as an indoor herb garden in the kitchen or in the small port as the portable garden. This gardening does not need more space. This garden is large enough to support for the small family. This herb garden will add some extra flavor to your ordinary food. This organic and herb food are used as garnish for plates or salads while other types of herb plants can be used to perk up the flavor of a dish. Although growing herb plants in a kitchen garden is extremely easy and worthwhile, there is a lot of information to know and understand about the organic gardening. Consumption of fruits and vegetables with harmful chemicals is always a health risk today as well as for the future. A lot of people are worried, especially parents, about the chemicals that are used in vegetables to grow. Sometimes these chemicals get into the waterways. Organic Gardening means your family is safe from all this harmful chemicals. This is the reason that Organic gardening has been gaining in popularity for years, mostly due to environmental concerns. Now Gardeners are becoming less willing to dump chemicals into the soil and water, less willing to pollute the environment on the cost of your garden.

    Category: Articles

It is a good reason for organic healthy gardening. Risks to pets, people and the environment are just beginning to be understood. It takes a little planning to become an organic farmer. Typical garden problems need to be proactively managed as opposed to correcting them after they happen.Toxic chemicals and pesticides can build up in your system or have long-term effects on your health.  For example, pesticide exposure has been linked to nerve damage, cancer and birth defects.

By using the chemicals and pesticides, children and infants are at a dramatically increased risk for damage.  Children have excretory systems that are still developing that means that they are less able to rid their bodies of chemicals consumed. The chemical damage can alter the biology of their bodies permanently, causing problem. Tissues and developing organs can suffer when chemicals block absorption of nutrients. So, it is a best step to avoid chemicals and pesticides in your garden towards protecting the health and well being of yourself and your family.

This video walks you through planting a bare root fruit or nut tree. Learn how deep to dig the hole, how to position the tree, and how to start your tree off right. Produced by Peaceful Valley & GrowOrganic.com where we encourage natural and organic gardening solutions. www.groworganic.com For more information, see our blog post “Many bare root fruit trees for sale — how to choose the right one for you” intheloop.groworganic.com Notes on adding compost to the planting hole: Compost is advised by some research-based programs, when the soil is poor. Our company is based in a region with many areas of heavy clay soil, which is problematic. Tricia says in our video that she is adding compost to the clay soil found in our local Sierra Nevada foothills. We suggest using a small amount of compost when planting in soil that is heavily clay or sand. In our Fruit & Nut Trees Planting & Growing Guide we note that: Clay drains poorly and sand does not retain moisture and nutrients. The addition of organic material (well-aged, high quality composts or green manures) will loosen clay soils to allow for improved drainage and will also create an efficient substrate to retain moisture and nutrients in overly sandy soil. While recent studies indicate that over-fertilization can be detrimental, we recommend the addition of 15–20% organic matter to poor soils, as nothing is gained by planting in unamended clay or sand. www.groworganic.com UC Extension, Sacramento County says: [T]horoughly

Green gardening guide – part two

In the UK, we each spend an average £200 each year on our gardens. That’s a whole lotta cash that could be used to make our green spaces green in the eco-friendly sense – by growing plants to organic standards, using compost instead of chemical fertiliser and deploying natural pest controls instead of going crazy with pesticides. To learn the how, we took a trip to Garden Organic Ryton to meet environmentalist, writer, CAT staffer and organic gardener, Allan Shepherd. This is part one of a two part series.
